My Story

I'm running the Great Bristol Half Marathon for my great nephew Jenson "Button" with  the little warrior's dad & for the grand appeal charity.

Bristol Childrens Hospital have saved Jenson's life on more than one occasion. He's now 3 months old but at 2.5 weeks old he collapsed and was diagnosed with aortic stenosis, he required an emergency operation through his armpit to balloon the valve for more effective blood flow. He was discharged a week later & they spent 7 days at home before being readmitted at his first clinic check up. They spent a further 6 weeks + in hospital before he received open heart surgery to repair the valve.

Any monies raised will be donated to the Grand Appeal Charity, a brilliant team of people who continue to help young children and families like theirs.
